Welcome to Happy Preschool Land in Van Nuys! Happy Preschool Land has many happy years of childcare experience with fully qualified and well-trained teachers and staff within the child development field. Our Preschool facility was established in 2000 and we have over 20 years of providing child care in the San Fernando Valley (we service students within the Van Nuys, Encino, Sherman Oakes, Northridge and Granada Hills areas). We are licensed and provide childcare and educational curriculum for ages 2-6 years old, this includes preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. We provide complimentary potty training to toddlers. We are also licensed to provide afterschool care for children ages 6-12, where children can have a safe space to go after school for tutoring, homework help, and for childcare.
We have extended hours (from 6:30am to 6:00pm) and are open year-round. We have a flexible program for parents who want to enroll their children in part-time childcare or full-time childcare.
Our preschool is focused on preparing our students to enter elementary with foundational knowledge that will help them excel in school. We prepare students for a graduation ceremony upon finishing preschool and kindergarten. We also have fun activities throughout the year such as a Holiday Show, Summer Camp, Valentine’s Day Candy Exchange, Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Parade, Birthday Celebrations, and many more!
We have a large outdoor playground area for our students on campus. We provide freshly prepared hot lunches and two snack times for our students. Parents are always kept informed through a monthly newsletter with all the happenings at our school. We maintain an open-door policy for our parents, who are invited to visit anytime during our school’s operational hours.
